Is The Google Pixel 4 Waterproof?

Image
Google unveiled its flagship duo for the year, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL . Both devices were heavily leaked before the launch and there isn't really anything new that surprised us. The Pixel 4 and 4 XL start at a price of  $799 and  $899 respectively and you might be wondering whether or not the Pixel 4 duo is waterproof. Well, you can ease your mind since the new flagship devices from Google indeed have an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. This means that the Pixel 4 duo should be able to survive being submerged under 1.5m of water for 30 minutes . Of course, it's worth noting that an Ingress Protection rating does not always guarantee that the device would always survive being submerged in water or exposed to dust. Nonetheless, while we weren't surprised by the specifications and features on the latest Pixel duo, what surprised is that the Pixel 4 duo would not be brought over to India. It seems Google has decided to skip one of the largest...

Oppo Reno A Launched In Japan for JPY 35,800

Image
Oppo is on a smartphone release streak. The company has been launching new devices just about every second month. Its newest budget smartphone to launch is the Oppo Reno A which was launched today in Japan. The Reno A comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution. Powering the device is the tried and tested Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage . Oppo's budget-oriented device has a decent 3600mAh battery which should get you through a day of use on a single charge. What's even more interesting is that the device comes with an IP67 water and dust resistant rating. It's still rare to see budget smartphones to have an official Ingress Protection rating so kudos to Oppo. On the rear, we get dual rear cameras. The primary sensor is a 12MP wide-angle lens and paired with it is the 2MP depth sensor . To be honest, it would have been great if Oppo went with an ultra-wide-angle lens for the second camera. However, given...

Is The Redmi Note 8 Pro Waterproof?

Image
Xiaomi revealed today that the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be launching in India on October 16 . Just about every manufacturer has to cut corners with their budget smartphones to keep costs down. This results in budget phones not receiving any IP rating. If you're wondering whether the Redmi Note 8 Pro is waterproof, then here's everything you need to know. The Note 8 Pro does not have any official IP rating. Ingress Protection ratings are used to define how well-sealed and protected an electrical enclosure is from things such as water or dust. This does not mean that the Redmi Note 8 Pro would be damaged with minor contact with water. As we've seen with Xiaomi's other budget offerings such as the Redmi Note 7 and 7 Pro. The devices do have a splashproof body. While we are not suggesting exposing your brand new Redmi Note 8 to liquids, in case of an accidental spill the device should not suffer any water damage. How To Enable Hip Fire Mode In Call Of Duty: Mobile

Image
Call of Duty: Mobile is available to download globally and the game has already amassed over ten million downloads on the Google Play Store itself. While you can match the controls in Call of Duty: Mobile to your setup in PUBG Mobile ( if you've played PUBG that is ), there's one thing that several players aren't able to figure out. By default, firing a gun would automatically open the ads/scope which can be a bit annoying when trying to take out an enemy player in a close-quarters gunfight. Fortunately, there's an easy way to fix this. Simply follow the steps below to enable hip fire in COD: Mobile. Turn on Hip fire mode Launch Call of Duty: Mobile on your device if it isn't open already. When on the main menu, tap on the Settings icon located at the top of the screen.
