How To Bring Back The Navigation Bar On Android 10

Android 10 is now official and is rolling out as an OTA update for Google Pixel users. The new Android version brings quite a few improvements over Android Pie, especially for user privacy.

Fortunately, Google has also attempted to fix the god awful navigation gestures which were introduced in Android 9 Pie last year. Navigation gestures on Android 10 are a lot more functional and easy to get the hang off.

However, if you're still not a big fan of gesture navigation, then you might be looking to bring back the soft keys. Well, if that's the case, don't fret since Google still offers users the ability to disable gesture navigation and use the navigation bar.

How to Enable OG 3-Key Navigation Bar

  1. Launch the Settings application.
  2. Select System Gestures → System navigation.
  3. From the options on the screen, select 3-button navigation.

That's it.

You would now be able to use the navigation bar to go back, home, and launch the recents menu.
