Threads From Instagram Now Available To Download


Instagram's rumored app — "Threads" is now available globally on the Play Store and App Store. The new application is geared towards sharing messages and pictures with just those in your Close Friends list.

The first time you launch the application on your device, you'd see the option to select or remove individuals from your Close Friends list. Threads from Instagram is a lot like Snapchat in several ways with a few differences.


For those of you who are fed up with receiving a ton of notifications each time someone posts an update, Threads has an option for users to only set up notifications for the people you most care about and don't mind being notified each time they post an update.

There's also another interesting feature within the app called Auto Status, which detects certain situations via the phone's sensors such as when you're driving, in a restaurant, or when the battery is about to die. Auto Status will then automatically share the information with your Close Friends with updates like these: “🚗On the move.” “🍝 Out to dinner.” “🔌 Low battery.”

OnePlus 7 Pro Press Renders Leaked
