Oppo Reno A Launched In Japan for JPY 35,800
Oppo is on a smartphone release streak. The company has been launching new devices just about every second month. Its newest budget smartphone to launch is the Oppo Reno A which was launched today in Japan.
The Reno A comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution. Powering the device is the tried and tested Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Oppo's budget-oriented device has a decent 3600mAh battery which should get you through a day of use on a single charge.
What's even more interesting is that the device comes with an IP67 water and dust resistant rating. It's still rare to see budget smartphones to have an official Ingress Protection rating so kudos to Oppo.
On the rear, we get dual rear cameras. The primary sensor is a 12MP wide-angle lens and paired with it is the 2MP depth sensor. To be honest, it would have been great if Oppo went with an ultra-wide-angle lens for the second camera. However, given its price we aren't complaining. On the front, there's a 25MP selfie snapper.
Speaking of price, the Oppo Reno A would be available in Japan for a starting price of JPY 35,800. This roughly translates to around $332. But prices may vary if and when Oppo decides to launch the device elsewhere.
