Is The Realme X Waterproof?

Realme's latest flagship is the Realme X which has been launched to take on the likes of the Redmi K20 and a few other devices in the price segment.

The Realme X comes in at a starting price of Rs. 16,999 in India whereas it's rival, the K20 starts at Rs. 21,999.

Of course, the Realme X offers some incredible value for money and can even compete with a few flagships in terms of design. Speaking of flagships, almost all flagship smartphones launched these days have some form of dust and water-resistance rating.

If you're wondering whether or not the Realme X carries an IP rating as well, then, unfortunately, you'd be a tad disappointed to know that the Realme's flagship device does not carry any official IP rating hence it would be safe to assume that the device is not water-resistant and should not be exposed to liquids or fine dust.

However, a few splashes of water should do no harm if wiped away soon. Nonetheless, even if you have a device with an official IP rating it's always better to keep it away from water since electronics and water usually don't mix well.
