Is The Redmi K20 Waterproof?
Xiaomi's Redmi K20 is one of the best mid-tier smartphones you could get your hands on at the moment since the device has a lot to offer for a fairly reasonable price.
The Redmi K20 shares many similarities with its rival the Realme X, however, rather than having a polycarbonate build, the K20 offers a premium cool to the touch glass sandwich design.
While the K20 offers a premium build quality, you might be wondering whether or not the device is water-resistant. The answer to that is, unfortunately, no. The K20 does not have any official IP rating hence I'd suggest keeping the device away from any liquid.
A few occasional splashes of water should do no harm if dealt with quickly, however, avoid submerging the device underwater for any amount of time.
It's worth noting that even though several flagship devices do indeed have official IP dust and water-resistance ratings, most OEM's do not cover water damage with the device warranty hence it's wise to keep your smartphones away from liquids.
