OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV Launched - Price, Specs, Availability and More


After several teasers and leaks, it's finally here — the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus TV have been officially unveiled. Of course, the leaks and rumors were on point and there's almost nothing here to surprise us, however, that doesn't mean you shouldn't consider buying either of the products launched today.

The major differentiating factor in terms of design between the new 7T its predecessor can be spotted towards the rear of the devices with a new layout for the cameras.

OnePlus has also added a few features to its Oxygen OS software to offer a better user experience. The new changes are within the Gallery app, Messaging app, and Shelf to name a few. There are a few 'India-centric' features within Oxygen OS and OnePlus has finally released it's very own payment service — OnePlus Pay which would be available next year.


Specifications


The OnePlus 7T would be available in two colors — Glacier Blue and Frosted Silver. As expected, we get a 90Hz Fluid Display as well on the standard OnePlus 7T which was previously reserved for the OnePlus 7 Pro.

The device would also support HDR10+ content and the company has also implemented a monochromatic mode for a better reading experience. On the camera front, the 7T gets a 48MP wide camera + 16MP ultra-wide + telephoto.  OnePlus has implemented a 'Super Stable' feature to record stable videos.

As the rumors and leaks suggested, the OnePlus 7T comes with the new Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC which is the most powerful chipset available for Android devices at present. Warp Charge 30T makes an appearance as well which would charge the device 23% faster than the previous generation as claimed by OnePlus.

All future OnePlus smartphones will come with a 90Hz fluid display.

The OnePlus TV has a 55-inch QLED display with support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision in a 7mm thin frame. Android 9 Pie would come pre-installed on the TV and the company has also announced a dedicated application to allow users to control the TV via their smartphone.


A few cool features in the OnePlus TV include — MEMC, Color Brightening, De-Contour, Super Resolution, Contrast Enhancement, Noise Reduction, Dolby Vision. The OnePlus soundbar has 8 speakers with two backward-facing speakers and six front-firing speakers and the OnePlus TV will deliver a sound output of 50W.

OnePlus would also be bringing Netflix support for the OnePlus TV apart from the other streaming services that would be available. There are two variants of the OnePlus TV — Q1 Pro and Q1.

Price


The OnePlus 7T would be available at a starting price of Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant. The OnePlus TV Q1 is priced at Rs. 69,999 whereas the Q1 Pro would be priced at Rs. 99,900.

Availability


The OnePlus 7T as well as the OnePlus TV would be available from 28 September. The OnePlus TV would be an Amazon exclusive. The OnePlus 7T will be available via the OnePlus Store, Amazon and selected offline stores.
