How To Enable Dark Theme On Apple Music For Android


Android app developers have slowly but surely started implementing the dark mode option within their applications. Yesterday, Instagram began testing a dark mode within the beta version of the application.

The latest to join the dark mode party surprisingly is Apple. Apple Music users on Android devices now have the option to toggle on an AMOLED black theme in the application.

Unlike Instagram, the dark mode theme option can be enabled or disabled manually without having to change the system-wide theme option on your device.


Turn on Apple Music Dark Theme



  1. Update your Apple Music application to the latest version available on the Google Play Store.
  2. Launch the app and tap on the three-dots icon located at the top right of the screen.
  3. Tap on Settings and then select Theme.
  4. Simply tap on Dark to enable the AMOLED black theme.

You could also select Set by Battery Saver to enable the AMOLED black theme whenever you toggle on the battery saver option on your smartphone.

The AMOLED black theme helps save battery on devices with an AMOLED display. It also reduces eye strain when using your device in dimly lit rooms and at night.
