OnePlus Pay Announced At Launch Event In India


OnePlus took to the stage yesterday in India to launch the OnePlus 7T and the OnePlus TV. To our surprise, the company revealed OnePlus Pay — a new payment service from the company.

We expect the payment service to be launched in India and possibly a few other countries at first. OnePlus claims that they have been working for a year to make OnePlus Pay a thing.

"You won't need your physical wallet."

The company did not provide any other details about its new mobile payment service at the event except for pointing out that it would be available "sometime next year."

OnePlus pay could be similar to Samsung Pay on Samsung devices, however, we'll have to wait for the company to share a few more details about the payment service in the near future.

Oppo Reno A Launched In Japan for JPY 35,800

Oppo is on a smartphone release streak. The company has been launching new devices just about every second month. Its newest budget smartphone to launch is the Oppo Reno A which was launched today in Japan. The Reno A comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a FullHD+ resolution. Powering the device is the tried and tested Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage . Oppo's budget-oriented device has a decent 3600mAh battery which should get you through a day of use on a single charge. Google unveiled its flagship duo for the year, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL . Both devices were heavily leaked before the launch and there isn't really anything new that surprised us.
