Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition: What To Expect


Xiaomi's Redmi K20 Pro is easily one of the best value for money devices currently available. The smartphone brings the Snapdragon 855 chipset at a reasonable price with almost little to no drawbacks when compared to other flagship smartphones.

The company is now set to release the Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition which would pack in a few minor improvements over the existing K20 Pro.

Here are a few things to look out for with the upcoming Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition.


Specifications


The K20 Pro Extreme Edition would have an improved spec sheet and no design changes as far as we know.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor.
  • 8GB RAM up to 12GB RAM.
  • 128GB storage – 512GB storage (UFS 2.1).
  • 4000 mAh battery with support of 27W fast charging.
  • 48MP Primary + ultra-wide angle lens + telephoto lens.


Price


The K20 Pro Extreme Edition is expected to be launched at a starting price of 2,699 Yuan which roughly translates to around Rs. 27,000 for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. 

The 8GB RAM + 512GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variants would be priced at 2,999 Yuan (Rs. 30,000) and 3,199 Yuan (Rs. 32,000) respectively.


Of course, the Redmi K20 Pro Extreme Edition would compete with the standard OnePlus 7T. With a relatively lower price, the K20 Pro Extreme Edition would be a compelling device given the impressive specifications.
