OnePlus 7 Pro To Feature An Improved, Redesigned Vibration Motor

The launch of the OnePlus 7 Pro and the standard OnePlus 7 is just around the corner. I've already covered several rumors and leaks on the device and the company has confirmed a number of features officially.

CNET had an exclusive email interview with OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau in which he confirmed that the company has listened to feedback from OnePlus users and have redesigned and improved the vibration motor in the OnePlus 7 Pro.

Most OnePlus devices owners would agree that the vibration motor on their device is pretty weak and inconsistent.

Fortunately, that might change with the redesigned vibration motor which would be much better than existing vibration motors on OnePlus devices.

Pete Lau also posted a tweet in response to the CNET article confirming that the OnePlus 7 Pro has a "New engine rebuilt with the OnePlus community to deliver just the right buzz."

Within the email interview, Pete Lau claimed that the redesigned vibration motor is larger and 200% more powerful than that found on the OnePlus 6T.

What's even more interesting is the fact that users would have the option to switch the vibration intensity from "light," "medium" and "strong".

It's good to see a company actually listening to feedback from its community and making the necessary changes. All in all, the OnePlus 7 Pro is shaping up to be an impressive smartphone.
