Samsung Releases April 2019 Security Patch For Galaxy S9 In India
Samsung released the April 2019 security patch update for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus in India yesterday. This new update brings along the latest security patch for your S9 and S9 Plus.
The updates' build number is CSD1 and was released via OTA late yesterday to most users. Apart from the latest security patch, the update does not bring along any new features or improvements.
Of course, there aren't any major issues or bugs on the Galaxy S9/S9+ hence we didn't expect to see any improvements.
If you haven't yet received the latest update notification, we'd suggest checking for the update manually. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings and tap on Software update.
- Tap on Download and install.
- Wait for your device to search for the update and if an update is available, simply select Download.
- Once the update is downloaded, tap on Install.
Don't fret if the update still does not show up on your device since updates are rolled out in batches, therefore, you may receive the update after a few hours or even a day.
