The Best Wallpaper Apps On Android
A wallpaper can make or break a cool homescreen setup and picking a great wallpaper isn't as easy as it might seem.
There are a ton of wallpaper applications available on the Google Play Store and you might even find some pretty cool backgrounds on other websites by performing a quick Google search.
However, searching for a good wallpaper application or going through hundreds of wallpapers or websites on Google can be severely time-consuming.
To make things easier, I've rounded up my personal best wallpaper applications available on the Play Store that have an excellent collection of amazing wallpapers.

1. Backdrops
Each wallpaper carefully selected and a new wallpaper is added every day. There are exclusive categories such as AMOLED wallpapers which require you to purchase the Pro version of the app which is absolutely worth it.
2. Walpy
Walpy is an Unsplash client and has some of the best wallpapers from the site. The developers regularly add several cool new images from Unsplashed.
You could search for a particular type of wallpaper or else the app has a bunch of image 'Collections' from which you could pick your favorite background image.
3. PAPERS Wallpapers
Here's another excellent wallpaper application which features hundreds of high-quality background images and even has a bunch of 4K wallpapers which you could even use as wallpapers for your PC.
Using the app is pretty straightforward and there are several categories of wallpapers to choose from including AMOLED wallpapers.
4. CREATIVE: Wallpapers, Ringtones and Homescreen
This wallpaper/ringtones/homescreen application has quickly become my favorite go-to wallpaper app since it features some stunning wallpapers and the app is fairly minimal.
What's even more interesting is that you could check out shared homescreen setups by others along with all the details of their setup via the app.
5. Tapet
Tapet is one of the most unique wallpaper applications currently available on the Google Play Store and the app has been around for a long time.
Unlike other apps which require you to download wallpapers, Tapet generates amazing high-quality wallpapers from scratch using 'Math Functions'. Simply swipe up to generate wallpapers... Easy peasy.
